Très bel établissement, probablement le meilleur hôtel de Kasane !
En ville, proche des supermarchés pour se ravitailler. Parfait pour se reposer après une aventure complètement Wild. Stop idéal pour rejoindre le Zimbabwe.
Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et bon.
Le personnel est sympathique.
La chambre est agréable : grande salle de bain, moustiquaire pour le lit, ...
Très belle vue sur Chobe Riverfront.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !!

Went there just for dinner, opted for a la carte instead of buffet and were disappointed: Ceasar‘s Salad was normal salad, fish was decent,. but T-bone steak was not good, hard to chew and a lot to cut around. Had so much better in Ghanzi!
Price is fair: 650 Puls with drinks and tip

2/7-2/13で宿泊しました。
チョベ川が窓から見える部屋がとてもきれいで、印象的でした。
部屋の窓から、川にワニが浮かんでいるのが見えたり、敷地内にイノシシがいたりします。一度はナイルオオトカゲが窓の前の庭を歩いていて興奮しました。

一番安い部屋だと思いますが、リビングが広くて、ベッドの部屋と別れていて、長い滞在に快適でした。
電源はこの国の標準的なソケットのほか、EUで使われているタイプも使えるようになっていました。

シャワーの排水が悪かったのですが、フロントに言うとスタッフを送って直してくれました。
ゴミ箱に蟻がたかった時も片づけてくれました。

このロッジからのサファリはとても良かったです。
ライオンはかなりの確率で見れます。ヒョウも見れました。
カサネに来たらフルデイのサファリをすることはマストです。
フルデイの最少催行人員は4人がどのロッジでも標準です。
人数が足りない場合はほかのロッジに聞きに行き、
開催されているものに参加できるか聞きに行くのも手です。

このロッジからヴィクトリアフォールズのツアーにも行きました。
ボツワナ内とジンバブエ内の送迎はどちらもしっかりしていて、
出入国のところでも迷わないようになっていて安心です。
2月9日に行きました。
水量は迫力満点で、一部はね上がった霧で見えなくなってましたが、お土産屋さんに売ってるポストカードと同じ見た目の滝が見れました。
水量が多すぎると見えなくなるそうですが、そうなる手前といった感じでした。

朝ごはんのビュッフェはまぁまぁです。卵を鉄板で調理してくれるやつを毎日食べてました。
元イギリス領だからかスコーンや紅茶がおいしいです。
それに気づかずカプチーノばかり飲んでいましたが。

夜ごはんはSPARで買って食べたりホテルのレストランに行ったりしました。レストランのステーキは炭火焼きでおいしかったです。
SPARのチキングリルもかなりおいしいです。

無料で水を汲める給水機がありますが、二日目におなかを壊してからは使わないようにしました。
おなかを壊した原因は不明ですが、やはりペットボトルの水を飲むのが安全です。
ここの給水機がダメとは限らないです。ほかのホテルや空港の給水機も使っていたので。。。

2月は雨期でしたが、快晴が続いてとても気持ちがよかったです。おすすめです。
サファリに行く際は、双眼鏡か単眼鏡を持っていくことを強くお勧めします。

Ein toller Platz zum entspannen. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Frühstück, gutes Abendessen. Massage sehr gut. Barpersonal klasse.

I did not get into rooms. I was attending a workshop in one of the.conference halls.

It's great place to visit, so relaxing and friendly staff.

I can understand the positive reviews of Chobe Marina Lodge as the location, some of the staff and easy access to game drives is really good. In particular the guys working at the terrace bar were very friendly. Also any excursion we did through the hotel was very well organised.

However, the service from some of the staff was really bad, especially in the main restaurant. It's potentially due to a lack of training but really basic issues. For example one night we were having a bbq outside. There was a lot of thunder and lightning, and we asked to take our food and eat under the covers of the restaurant. We were told this wasn't possible. It then started raining and we asked the same, to be told that we could go to our rooms but not use the restaurant which was about a 50m walk away. Eventually we just sat ourselves down. The staff were more concerned about ensuring that they had our room details to charge the room for the meal than the well being of guests.

Also there is no drinks menu at all (in a 4 star hotel), so you have no idea what you can order, or the price. Similarly when they have a buffet there is no info readily available on how much it costs.

`Other little things as well - for example just a lot of attention to detail on cleaning common areas, checking in on guests etc.

It almost feels like the hotel is being targeted for group tours and actively ignoring the needs of actual individual paying guests. It definitely was below the standard that I expected given price, hotel star rating and some of the recent review.

The staff was excellent. They are friendly and very accommodating.

Most Chobe National Park day tours stop here for lunch before the river cruise, buffet style food, but you have to pay for drinks, so bring your own water because they don't even offer free water. Free wifi ????
