Positives: From the moment I arrived the staff were welcoming, friendly and personable. The hotel and its settings are beautiful and peaceful. Location is in the middle of the historic centre. A 20 minute walk to the train station. My room was sleek, clean and luxurious. My room was above the under basement car parking but didn’t affect me. The spa was an additional price of 20 euros which I believe reasonable. The gym equipment was adequate for a short stay. Overall I would strongly recommend this hotel for a treat.
Negatives: The TV remote control offered Netflix but this did not work. I found it a shame breakfast was so expensive, at 38 euro per person, as I would have liked to stayed in the hotel for the morning. However I found a great alternative a short walk away for significantly less money.
Perfectly situated in the heart of Bruges, the Duke’s Palace Hotel offers a prime location for exploring the city. Just a short walk from the Market Square and the Belfry, guests are in the ideal spot to discover the city’s historic sites and charming streets. Also bus stops are in a short distance. There is no need to take a taxi or car.
The hotel exudes a sense of regal elegance, with its authentic 15th-century architecture and modern comforts blending seamlessly. The spacious garden, luxurious spa, and inviting bar provide guests with ample opportunities to relax and unwind.
My room has been in the garden aerea with contemporary comfort while retaining the building’s historic charm. Features like high ceilings, chandeliers, and ornate fireplaces add to the palatial feel. The only disadvantage compared to the rooms inside the hotel is the fact that you have to pass from the garden in the hotel for breakfast or the desk. However, no problem when it is not raining. The advantages of the garden rooms are the beautiful view and the silence that I have highly appreciated ????
Guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including free high-speed internet, a fitness center, and paid private parking. The hotel also boasts a congress center and bicycle rental services for those looking to explore the city on two wheels. Unfortunately I was not able to test one of the offers, but I am pretty sure they meet your requirements.
The staff at Duke’s Palace Hotel have all been attentive and professional, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. The breakfast offers a great choice and everyone should be able to find his favourite. The breakfast room however could be noisy on peak hours as a lot of groups are in the hotel.
My overall experience is that Duke’s Palace Hotel is a luxurious accommodation choice in Bruges, offering a blend of historical grandeur and modern amenities. It’s an excellent place to stay for those seeking a touch of luxury during their visit to this picturesque city. ????✨
We've been lucky enough to come to Bruges 14 times in the last 10 years and try and stay in different hotels a fair bit. This one is very impressive. The staff are lovely and the hotel is beautiful. Expensive but worth it.

Zeker eens overnachten daar
