En junio de 2002, los propietarios abrieron este hotel cerca de su granja de caballos, dando lugar a un establecimiento con etiqueta ecológica muy acogedor dedicado al caballo islandés. Este lugar confortable, tradicional y moderno, se adapta a los turistas que buscan tranquilidad y comodidad, así como a los aficionados a la equitación. Se ofrecen paseos a caballo para descubrir Islandia de una manera diferente. También hay dos bañeras de hidromasaje al aire libre y un restaurante (que, según dicen, es muy bueno, aunque un poco caro).

All the rooms are named after horses, and some have the history of the lineage, which is very interesting.
When booking I asked for a double bed, when we arrived there were two single beds that we had to put together.
I informed them that it was my birthday and asked them to provide a cupcake or similar so that we could celebrate upon arrival, which was ignored, and I didn't even receive a “congratulations” at check-in.
There is a hot tub but we didn't use it because of the wind.
We had dinner at the restaurant for convenience, it was expensive like everything else in Iceland.
Simple room, no smart TV.
The heated bathroom floor is really cool.
Excellent breakfast.
Unfortunately there is no Aurora warning service after 11pm.
Overall, the stay was positive, mainly due to the strategic location in relation to the attractions we wanted to visit.
