Desde fuera, este hotel no parece gran cosa, ¡pero lo es! El Hotel Leifur Eiriksson está frente a uno de los monumentos más populares de la capital: la espectacular iglesia Hallgrímskirkja. Ocupa una antigua casa de 47 habitaciones con baño privado, radio, TV vía satélite y teléfono, reformada en 1993. Además de su céntrica ubicación, las habitaciones del hotel están muy personalizadas, con cuadros de diseño y ropa de cama de colores a juego con el esquema cromático de cada tipo de habitación, así como la cálida bienvenida que ofrece el personal.

One point to note is that some of the rooms aren't in the main (pictured) Hotel and you have to cross the road and go in to an entirely different building. It feels a bit like being a poor relation but it wasn't really an issue.
Another slight disappointment was that the breakfast wasn't great, very basic.
It's a great, reasonably priced b&b though, and we did really like it here!
One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful view of the church from my room. It was truly a picturesque scene that added to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city center, as it is just a short walk away from all the main attractions and restaurants. I appreciated being able to easily access everything I wanted to see and do during my stay.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city center.
