Al Veluu es un restaurante familiar desde 1974, que ofrece una magnífica vista del lago. Un poco alejado del centro de Tremezzo, lo mejor es llegar en coche o en taxi. Entre las especialidades que no hay que perderse están el risotto con champán y pimienta verde, los penne con tomate, especias, aceitunas, panceta... y para terminar una nota dulce con el tiramisù casero y sus frutas frescas. El restaurante tiene su propio huerto ecológico en las inmediaciones, para aprovechar al máximo los productos frescos, locales y de temporada.

My husband and I visited for our honeymoon in August 2022. When we arrived there was an issue with a reservation we made a few months in advance but staff saw to it that we had a table and were quickly seated. The view is outstanding and our meal was one of the best we had during our stay in Italy, let alone Como. Fresh caught fish and organic veggies from the garden were delicious as were the zucchini flowers! Next time we find ourselves in Italy, we will be sure to stop ❤️

Die Lage des Al Veluu ist einmalig schön, aber wir können das Ristorante leider überhaupt nicht mehr empfehlen:
- Bei einem mehrgängigen Menü baten wir, einen der Gänge auf zwei Personen aufteilen zu können. Der dafür gebrachte 2. Teller schlug mit 8 EURO Aufpreis zu Buche, was auf Nachfrage vom Service ganz selbstverständlich bestätigt wurde. Das ist nur eins: dreister Nepp.
- Es ist uns bereits zum zweiten Mal passiert, dass auch Posten auf der Rechnung standen, die wir gatr nicht bestellt hatten. Entschuldigung? Fehlanzeige.
- Der Service ist während des Essens aufmerksam, doch wenn es ans Bezahlen geht, kann man gut und gern eine Viertelstunde auf die Rechnung warten.
Fazit: Leider unser letzter Besuch dort. Schade, in früheren Jahren war das Lokal eine echte Freude, jetzt eine große Enttäuschung.

Despite hours listed as open until 2pm, the restaurant would not let us sit when we arrive at 1:30pm—would have been nice to know before we made the long journey there. They were rude and it was disappointing they couldn’t let us eat there for lunch.

I usually don't bother to write reviews, but now I have to speak up for others who'd have dinner here.

As many others have written before us in the reviews it's sadly a tourist trap of sort.

Wonderful place, great food but sadly the "offer of the day" and aperitif is way overpriced. 35€ for zucchini flowers as starters and 22€ for a glass of Bellini is a bit far fetched. Just these 3 items were half of the rest of our dinner's bill... Please!

Rest of the prices are okay, but these ones are way beyond reason.
