Este hotel se encuentra en un edificio con una larga historia. En su día albergó a emigrantes de Europa del Este que se dirigían a Sudamérica, fue requisado por los alemanes y se convirtió en reformatorio... Recientemente ha sido renovado y reabierto como parte de la galaxia Hoxton. Dispone de 136 habitaciones muy confortables con un diseño vintage. El hotel dispone de un bar-restaurante con una agradable terraza.

I stayed in the Tune (music) room 219. The room is a double floor with a loft space for the bed. There are two washrooms. Upstairs has a sink and shower. Downstairs has a sink and toilet. There is a dining area, living room with a large mirror and windows that go to the roof. Plus there is a large piano.
I had a great stay as you're only 3 tram stops away from Central Amsterdam station (Tram 26). Plus Tram 7 can take you to the other side of the downtown area.
I would be curious to come back and stay in one of the other rooms for another visit. The Docklands is a newer area, worth exploring on nicer days. Plus you're not that far if you want to explore North Amsterdam.
