A very laid back traditional Greek taverna with good oven dishes that you can see in the kitchen and friendly family staff. Try their lamb dishes with their own farm red wine. All in a quiet taverna with low volume greek music and good quality furniture. Perfect for spending a couple of hours or more over a meal.

A calm, spacious traditional taverna where you can enjoy really good Greek food while being able to hear the conversation of partner or friends. Not frantic or crushed in, instead it is relaxed and peaceful with excellent family service.

Δυστυχώς μετά που άλλαξε η διεύθυνση χάλασε πάρα πολύ η ποιότητα και η ποσότητα του φαγητού. Λυπάμαι πολύ, ήταν από τις καλύτερες επιλογές στην Παλαιόχωρα. Όσο για τις τιμές ας το αφήσουμε ασχολίαστο....

Ήρθαμε αρχές Σεπτέμβρη, το φαγητό αρκετά ξερό και γενικά μέτριο, πολυ κατώτερο σε σχέση με όσα είχαμε συνηθίσει στην Κρήτη. Επίσης σχετικά απότομη η εξυπηρέτηση. Είναι λίγο άσχημο να μιλάει άψογα ο πελάτης και απότομα αυτός που εξυπηρετεί. Υπάρχουν μακράν καλυτερες ταβέρνες στην Παλαιόχωρα

Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Meer mit Blick auf das Meer. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, nett und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte hat auch im November noch einen sehr großen Umfang an griechischen Speisen. Die Preise sind für diese tolle Lage direkt am Meer sehr günstig. Als kostenfreie Vorspeise gab es leckeres, geröstetes Weißbrot mit Kräuterbutter. Meine Frau hatte Steak mit Okra Gemüse und ich Würstchen. Alle 3 Speisen waren recht schnell da und extrem lecker. Als kostenlosen Nachtisch gab es noch leckeres Gebäck und Raki. Auf der Straße vor dem Lokal sind viele kostenfreie Parkplätze vorhanden. Es ist kostenfreies WLAN vorhanden. Es war alles sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nach den sehr guten Erfahrungen im vergangenen Jahr waren wir hier erneut zum Essen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wieder eine sehr freundliche, aufmerksamer und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Meine Frau hatte im Ofen gegartes slow cooked lamb und ich Stockfisch. Beides hat wieder ganz hervorragend geschmeckt. Nebenbei haben wir den fantastischen Ausblick auf das Meer genossen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier sehr gut. Wir kommen hier immer wieder sehr gerne hin.

We had diner here with a greek salad, mousaka and some side dishes. The food was not bad neither special. The tomatos and cucumbers in the salad tasted neutral. The mousaka was prepared and warmed up before serving. We didn't have fish but the fish dishes at the other tables looked promising. The reataurant is touristic oriented but at this location this is to be expected. Prices are also reasonable.

Nice restaurant with a lot of fish dishes. There are options for two persons. Delicious food and wine. The dessert at the end is amazing. Nice staff and view, near the port. Everything was super!

Sehr nettes Restaurant an der Meerpromenade. Juli 2022 wurde dort ein griechisches Familienfest ausgerichtet, ich glaube, das spricht für sich. Gutes Essen, guter Service, so wie wir es mögen.

Great place for fish!! The view is unbeatable and the service is really friendly. And of course the fish was just amazing. They show you the fresh catch of the day and you can pick your own fish. I highly recommend ????

Μακραν το καλυτερο φαγητο της Παλαιοχωρας !!Ευγενικο και εξυπηρετικο προσωπικο , χαμογελαστος και ευχαρος ο Ιδιοκτητης ! Γρηγορο σερβις , οτι φαγαμε ηταν πολυ νοστιμο και προσεγμενο ! Αν υπηρχαν παραπανω αστερια θα τα εβαζα ! Συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα !!

Excellent restaurant familial pour les fruits de mer et poissons. L'assortiment de poissons frais et grillés pour 2 personnes est un vrai délice et très copieux, avec un très bon rapport qualité prix.
La tradition crétoise d'offrir dessert et raki est à l'honneur avec un fromage de brebis crémeux avec raisins confits.
Un vrai délice!
