The tables are positioned for a perfect view of the sea, (you have to make a reservation also). The food is incredible, 5/5 but can be big portions with starters also. This restaurant encouraged me to try new food and I was absolutely not disappointed. The staff are also extremely lovely and hard working daily.
WoW this was our last day out before we leave and our best one , from the service , friendliness make you feel part of the family , Something different on the menu to all the other restaurants . The food was out of this world Michelin star quality . From the bread to the dessert .

Αν και το φαγητό του είναι σχετικά καλό αντί για ψωμί που ζητήσαμε μας έφερε dips χωρίς να παραγγείλουμε 12 ευρώ, το μισό λίτρο κρασί χύμα μας το χρέωσε 12 ευρώ ο τιτανοτεραστιος και την σαλάτα 13 ευρώ 3 τομάτες με 1 αγγουράκι με ένα πιπέρι και μια φέτα. Ρε μεγάλε να τα καταλάβω ότι μπορεί να αγοράζεις τις τομάτες και τα αγγούρια ακριβά αλλά το κρασί το χύμα μισό λίτρο 12 ευρώ. Σου το φέρνουν μέσα σε χρυσά βαρέλια; Είσαι μεγαλοφυΐα.
Wir haben eine Woche Ferien auf Kreta verbracht & jeden Abend in Elounda gegessen. Das Ferryman Restaurant hat und am besten gefallen. Vom Service über die Gerichte bis hin zum Ambiente hat alles gepasst. Die Preise für das „RundumSorglospaket“ (Apéro, Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Dessert, Wein und Kaffe) liegen zwischen € 80 - 90.- (2 Personen) Nicht gerade günstig jedoch ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder ????????
en couple , un dernier repas, une dernière soirée en attendant l année prochaine...on a choisi Ferryman et on a adoré ! dolmades , moules , souvlaki poulet kebab, desserts délicieux également. Le chef est venu plusieurs fois à notre table il est très sympathique et totalement en phase avec SA cuisine...ouzo offert en fin de repas , la petite touche crétoise même pour un super gastro . 85 euros avec le vin , plus cher qu une taverne lambda mais ...cela est mérité, on voyage chez ce chef bien sympathique.
Heerlijk gegeten en een hele vriendelijke eigenaar. Deed zelfs een Raki met ons mee. We hebben er heerlijk aan het water gezeten en het was heerlijk eten. Ik had de geit en was zalig, zo van 't bot.
Unfortunately not our best meal and yet one of most expensive ,all the pomp for those that like to be courted .waiters friendly yet very slow service ,cold food .over rated and I'm a retired caterer .
Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal super freundlich. Die Preise sind hoch aber für diese Qualität völlig gerechtfertigt. Ein Besuch ist nur zu empfehlen.
כל מה שאכלנו היה טעים. פחות אהבתי את הקינוח. חדוב לציין שמנת העז הרים היא טעימה אך גדולה מאוד ודי שומנית. כך שאם אתם רוצים משהו לא כבד לא כדאי או לחלוק עם עוד מישהו.
A perfect setting outdoors, with a lovely view of both the water and the stunning decor of the restaurant and open kitchen. The food was delicious. Prepared fresh and came quickly. Staff were stressed, but very friendly and helpful. Lots of local cuisine to try.
Fried Halloumi with Jam n Mint was a delicious appetizer and their signature wild mountain goat was super tender and absolutely flavorful- highly recommend
I really loved this restaurant, we saw after lunch yesterday and decided to come back today. They found us a table even though we hadn't booked. And we had taramasalata as starter with bread and some carrot and cucumber,( on request from me( I'm not eating bread at the moment ) it came with tzatziki and a red pepper feta all of which was absolutely top rate I mean really good. We followed it with goat as the goat had a lot of very good reviews, and all I can say is they were all correct. Sadly, we had to get the bill and leave rather abruptly shortly after the main course, which they staff we very understanding about.

Most will know. Walking a seaside holiday town can be a lottery, especially when you are accosted by various restaurants with the "best food in town".
If you like food. You will love The Ferryman. Go there...
