Best car rental in Santorini

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY, IT MAY COST YOUR LIFE. VERY UNSAFE. We rented a 300cc Piaggio Beverly from this company, after being assured that it was a quality scooter, good brakes w/ abs system etc the rear brake failed 100% coming down the very steep incline road with switchbacked to Ammoudi Bay. I was in complete shock as this incident nearly cost me and my partner our lives. The owner has NO REGARD for his customer as after multiple requests has failed to contact me. I made the simple request that he pick up the scooter and bring us a safe car to drive for the remaining time of our rental and they assured me that this very simple request in light of the severity of what happened would be impossible. I plan to file complaints with proper municipalities, police, American Express, American embassy and anyone that will prevent this danger to other people. (They did offer 70€ refund which means nothing to me) DO NOT RENT HERE, IT MAY COST YOUR LIFE, which has more value than €70!!! IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S RESPONSE: I RENTED IT FROM THIS CAR RENTAL PLACE, IT WAS DEFINITELY THE SAME PLACE, AND YOU DO RENT SCOOTERS AS SHOWN ON YOUR WEBSITE. STOP YOUR DISHONEST PRACTICES. SEE VAZEOS LOGO BELOW. STOP TRYING TO HIDE BEHIND SISTER/PARTER LLC'S THAT RENT FROM YOUR VERY SAME BUSINESS LOCATION.

Te estafan en el precio y el coche, muy caro y en mala condición el coche , el marcador de gasolina no funcionaba y tuvimos que rellenar mas dinero porque no marcaba bien, muy mal servicio

Escrocs, piège à touriste, les véhicules sont en mauvais état. Les tarifs sont trop élevés. Contrats très litigieux. Le carburant n est pas à son maximum quand vous louez mais vous devez le mettre quand bous rendez le véhicule. Scooter d un autre âge, Quad complètement défoncés, voitures certainement sans contrôle technique, j ai croisé plusieurs touristes qui ont eu des problèmes avec cette société. Je ne recomande pas du tout. Et je suis baroudeur ... Pitoyable.

Very easy to rent from, Marcos was waiting at the arrival terminal with a sign for us and walked us to our car. Very smooth transaction and very professional, definitely recommend.

Vazeos ça ressemble à vaseline... Peut être un signe !? :)) En tout cas arrêtez de prendre les touristes pour des bœufs car sans eux, vous crevez... Préférez le loueur plus haut nettement plus sympa.

Overall pretty good experience. Really easy to organise the car with Nikoleta by email, and it was waiting for me at the port on my arrival.

Downsides were the delivery man didn't seem to have my booking details where I'd arranged extra insurance and agreed to pay by card when he wanted cash - a normal trick in Santorini but I held out and paid by card albeit with 20 mins of standing around in the blistering heat whilst he sat in the air con of the car. Also the car only had 1/8 tank of fuel, but it's pretty easy to fill up and managed to see the island on just €15 of fuel!

Would use Vazeos again.

5 dagen een auto gehuurd, alles was goed.
Zelfs een parkeerplek erbij want dat is nog een dingetje als je vlakbij Oia zit vanwege de drukte.

Walked in to rent a scooter, the lady there was condescending about how I needed an international license because it was “the law”. I just finished renting one in Mykonos without that.

Tried to explain I have a valid Motorcycle license, but she wasn’t interested and overall dismissive, as if I was bothering them.

Walked down the street to Drossos in Oia and rented one with no problem.

Go elsewhere, these people are rude and uninterested in helping you.

MUY CARO, PÉSIMA ATENCIÓN
Pagamos 370 eur por 4 días de alquiler de un coche básico cuando en cualquier web te cuesta 200 eur con seguro todo riesgo.
El coche tenía dos alarmas de baja presión en las ruedas y airbag desconectados. Escribimos al dueño y no se digno a contestarnos.

This was a perfect experience from beginning to end. I emailed with Nikoleta to get prices and reserve the car and she was always very responsive. They met us at our hotel when we were ready, handed off the keys, and off we went. The car was exactly as we had requested. When we were done we left the car in the same spot with keys under the mat, and they came back to pick it up. Apparently there was a slight glitch an we had locked the car before leaving the keys inside, but they were very gracious about it and just used one of their spare keys. It was our error but they couldn't have been nicer about it, and that just makes me recommend them more. Very easy to deal with and professional.

We decided to walk in and rent a car at the last minute. Nancy was extremely accommodating and clearly walked us through each vehicle option and insurance types. The rentals are 24 hours. Our departure plans changed, which put us outside of the 24 hour window. I contacted the company on What's App and Nancy immediately responded with a fair price to extend our rental and drop off the vehicle at the airport instead of Oia. A nice perk of using this company is that they have parking lots around the island that can be used free of charge. Overall, it was a good experience and a fair price.

We had a very good experience when recently renting a car with Vazeos Santorini. Nancy took care of us with strong professionalism. She was very welcoming and extremely clear with her explanations, always open minded and pleasant to deal with.
As a result when returning to Santorini after a long trip in the islands, we decided to call her in order to book again a car. She was more than helpful considering our last minute request.
Honestly if you have to book a car in Santorini, do not hesitate, call Nancy at Vazeos !

Highly recommend Vazeos for renting a car in Santorini. Completely flexible for pickup and drop off locations. Always available if you need anything related to your rental car. I rented in June of 2023.
