Hotel excepcional con magníficas vistas a la caldera y una excelente relación calidad-precio.

Magnífica casa del capitán en el acantilado, restaurada desde hace 15 años. La ubicación del hotel es excepcional, con una vista impresionante de la caldera. El desayuno es copioso y delicioso, con el panorama como un plus. Las 19 habitaciones descienden por una escalera en la roca (algunas habitaciones trogloditas parecen incluso cuevas). Un precio que nos parece justificado, con una posible fórmula más económica en los apartamentos. Excelente relación calidad-precio y una encantadora bienvenida por parte de los gerentes.

Worst experience EVER! The staff is extremely unprofessional, and the management is even worse. That describes the first 10 minutes of our family vacation at this hotel. The manager took over 2 hours to come and talk to us, took a phone call while we were talking to him, and refused to make any compromise after we asked for some refund to go to a better hotel.

The rooms were small, dirty, and the bathrooms smelled. The A.C. in my room didn't work, the staff didn't bother to fix it. The breakfast is fixed, the staff didn't allow us to finish our coffee or juice after 11 am for some reason, the fruits were very old and stale, and we had no choice over what food we got to eat as they have a fixed breakfast.

Last night of the stay, we had three guests who were staying at a close by hotel, and we were watching the sunset together. We booked 5 rooms at the hotel for 3 nights, and paid over 3000 pounds. The receptionist asked us at that night to have our guests leave before 12 A.M., and told us that if anything gets stolen they will be blamed. It was very disrespectful, and honestly insulting.

All They have going for this hotel is the view, and all other parts of the experience they managed to screw up in one way or the other

I stayed in room 26 which is loft(?) style- there is a tiny hall on the ceiling with stairs attached. It’s very dangerous since the stairs are very steep, slippery, narrow, and railing on the top can not be grabbed since it sticks to the wall. I ended up falling down from 3rd steps from the top hurting myself badly.
The location and view from common areas are good but the hotel rooms definitely need update especially for safety issues.

went for our honeymoon and it checked all the boxes, stayed 7 days and it never disappointed, great location on top of everything.

Una gran decepción. Fueron muy incómodos los momentos que estuvimos en la habitación, mucho muchísimo olor , el colchón, las almohadas muy desgastadas , el desayuno malísimo.
