Un hotel muy céntrico, una sutil mezcla de tradición y contemporaneidad, con una clientela de negocios (está bien situado en el corazón del distrito de negocios) pero también turística (se encuentra en el punto de partida para realizar visitas culturales). La recepción, con sus seis metros de altura, es el centro neurálgico del hotel (recepción, salón, restaurante, bar), y en ella se realizan exposiciones mensuales de artistas locales. El edificio está dividido en dos alas: la antigua y la nueva situada en un edificio diseñado por los arquitectos de Gustave Eiffel en la década de 1930, mientras trabajaban en diversas construcciones en el norte de Madagascar. Inicialmente fue la sede de unos grandes almacenes, los únicos en el país, y se convirtió en hotel en 1998. Actualmente, dispone de hermosas habitaciones con terraza, con el mejor diseño contemporáneo: las suites, en dos plantas (con despacho en un altillo, dormitorio grande y baño de granito), ofrecen un espacio impresionante. Tres activos adicionales para este impecable establecimiento: el restaurante Les saveurs du Louvre en la planta baja, el jardín interior al aire libre y el precioso spa en el sótano (vigas a la vista, piscina climatizada, tres salas de masaje, hammam, sala de fitness y bañeras de hidromasaje). El spa está abierto al público en general.

I’ve been visiting this hotel since 2015 and I feel that the standard level is equivalent to a cabaret hotel nowadays. The reasons are as follows:
a) the service standards of the waiters lacks of hospitality, rather than supporting residents request, they’d favor drop in customers just sitting with a newspaper at a dinning table. May be it is a new culture approach.
b) how do you expects residents and business people to stay over on a Friday evening with a loud decibel cabaret that kicks off from 20hrs to 23hrs, this surely brings your standards down.
c) the breakfast buffet looks like a fuel station service, compared to before the variety was upto a global taste and nowadays it’s worthless from even choosing.
May be, my suggestion would not be creating any effects or changes, but I feel very sorry about the hotel image/standards and it is no more an ear to ear place of stay in Tana.
