excellent service from arrival at the entrance, exceptional parking voucher, especially Alexis, Eduardo and Leonel, very helpful and friendly, perfect reception team, Mare restaurant, excellent flavor in its dishes, very attentive waiter service, excellent experience, clean & good location

AC stopped working in the middle of the night. Shower heat control was dysfunctional.

ROOMS: The rooms of the hotel are very modern and nice. I have a good view from my room and the room is quite spacious.

LOCATION: The location is great since the hotel is in the middle of Brickell and ideal to walk around.

SERVICE: The service is TERRIBLE!!!! If you call guest services from your room, your call will very seldom go through and if it does the person at the front desk has no idea on how to take care of the guests. If you order room service, the person would either forget to send your order or simply act like she/he did not know what was going on. I had to wait 45 minutes to get a BUCKET OF ICE!!! this does not make any sense at all at a hotel that is supposed to be premium given the price and reputation. IMPORTANT TO NOTE, that despite the front desk having over 4 people, no one over there knows what they are doing and they are incapable of solving any kind of problem for guests. I asked for the manager Oscar several times, and have not gotten any response from him. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS WHEN MAKING THE DECISION TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Great stay and a lovely hotel. Very accommodating staff. Raphael at the front desk and Alexis, Eduardo and Mario with valet were great! Will be back.

The hotel is wonderful, in every way. What is better?.......Melike and Ian. They are first class in customer service..the kindest, most caring folks I have ever met at check in.

Melike went out of her way to make our stay perfect, after discovering that Agoda (3rd party) booked a room for us that the hotel does not even offer!! Suggestion after learning the hard way: Don't ever book with Agoda- they are quite deceitful. Book with the hotel directly!

Our extra special room was so spacious with beatiful views. I was SHOCKED when I opened the door to this spectacular suite and all of its amenities, including a huge bathroom with tub and walk in shower (separate). The decor was stylish and aesthetically pleasing in all spaces.

The room was spotless and so was the hotel, even the elevators:)

We were extremely grateful for our complimentary drink coupons at the rooftop bar. It is open, clean restaurant with high tables outside overlooking Miami...really nice spot.

Highly recommend; I would never stay anywhere else, mostly due to the service and smiles at the front desk! Melike- you made us so happy; THANK YOU!!!!

Raphael was a joy to work with at the front desk!! I have never felt more welcome when I’ve arrived at a hotel. He was friendly, informative and a real pleasure to interact with - in French or English! He is a gem!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. What really made out stay special was the manager Melike! She was so accommodating and helpful. She really brightened our weekend. We highly recommend staying here!

I am truly amazed by the service, staff, and amenities provided by AKA Brickell during our stay in Miami. This place surpasses any other hotels in Miami, and we will definitely be returning. I would like to give a special thanks to the Front Office Manager Melike, as well as Ivana and Darina for the professionalism and exceptional service they provided.

Not a great experience, opted for an upgrade with a view, waste of a view, and was downgraded to a tiny room, no place to work, no desk, only one chair. Went to reception to try change the room, was told, in a not very nice way, that there was nothing available, when I upgraded, I gave up the option of the larger room. returned to the room, called to talk to a manager, was on hold for half an hour, while trying to locate a manager, none ever came available. Was told I would get a call back, this never happened. Most unfortunate, with a little service, could have been a great experience.

The very first day I was at the hotel. I noticed the shower was leaking. The next day I had to ask for help, before I got some service to fix the shower it took a while I ended up using all the towels in the bathroom to clean up the water. I was then told I was going to get a credit towards the hotel, so I ordered room Service for my son and I. But I was still charged on my credit card. Today I had to check out of the hotel by 11 AM. My flight left at 9 AM so I checked out at 6:30 AM as soon as I’ve arrived home. I noticed there was charges for today also, I was charged for the food when I was told I was going to get a credit for over 100$. Since I arrived, I’ve been calling and asking for help and no one can help me. I was given emails that do not exist. Last thing I asked, was for the general manager to call me , so I’m waiting on that to happen. I just did not like how I was given the runaround and told that was quite a bit and now I’m getting extra charges on my credit card bill. Wish I could say I had a good time but all these charges!! I don’t know where they’re coming from .

Almost died of thirst. No water in room. Was forced to dip into the mini bar. $$$$ When I drank the one available water it was never replaced. Was not able to check into our room till 3 hours after checkin time. Had to wait another hour for our luggage to be delivered. My biggest complaint was I am an early riser and you couldn’t get a cup of coffee till the restaurant opened at 7:00 am. However they did give me a glass of water. Other than that the hotel is pretty, although the gym is sub par. It was walkable to restaurants and shopping. Bottom line hotel is physically nice but the service was incredibly bad except for one valet that parked my car, last name Gallo. He should train the staff.
