Hotel de buena relación calidad-precio, cerca de la Estación Central de Terminales y del Empire State Building.

El hotel tiene la ventaja de estar a sólo unas calles de la estación Grand Central Terminal, del Empire State Building y de las tiendas de la 5 ª Avenida. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y bastante sencillas. El hotel está situado en un sofá bastante tranquilo. A diferencia de algunos establecimientos, las habitaciones del Grand Union están equipadas con aire acondicionado y calefacción central. Un verdadero más si te alojas en julio-agosto o de diciembre a febrero. El hotel acoge a los corredores de maratón de Nueva York en noviembre y raramente dispone de habitaciones disponibles en este período.

Posizione fantastica. Letto comodissimo, king-size, bagno più che decoroso. Dimensioni della camera contenute ma più che soddisfacenti.
Camera al 6 piano, silenziosa nonostante l'affaccio su strada. Anche l'impianto d'aerazione dell'hotel non ha disturbato il sonno. Unica stranezza l'orario per il riassetto, cambia a seconda dei giorni.

Had to wait half an hour locked out front because the person working the desk that evening fell asleep. When they finally let us in he assured us we were only locked outside for a few minutes. When we showed him the time stamps from the first call to the desk showing it had been exactly 30 minutes, he continued to deny it.

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and stay quite literally anywhere else.

I was a little worried at first seeing some strange reviews, this is a great place. Super location and good value for Manhattan. The staff during check in were super nice. I would recommend this. The place is also clean.

I stayed here for one night and everything was fine, even though the rooms were kind of small but that wasn't an issue since I was sightseeing most of the time. On the morning I checked out, I was about to get in the shower when I went to pull a towel off the rack and a cockroach crawled out from behind it. So I left as fast as possible and told the front desk and they gave me breakfast vouchers. Which barely made up for it but I wasn't even mad since that I was already checking out. However, when I got back I decided to check my credit statements and seen that they didn't give me back my full security deposit even though I didn't damage the property or anything. And when I called customer service they hung up on me when I was explaining the situation. Now i dont know if that was expected not to give it back fully, but if its as a customer service associate, you should explain that or the website should mention that. Overall, if you gonna spend your money I suggest you go somewhere else, there's too many other nice hotels to stay at in New York.
