Esta propiedad de estilo victoriano tiene un confort básico pero un ambiente de jazz y ofrece 4 habitaciones con lavabos y decoración anticuada. Los huéspedes comparten los dos cuartos de baño (uno en cada planta), y si la televisión y el aire acondicionado están ausentes, uno se siente como la realeza con René, el propietario. My go-to place in NYC. Extremely reasonable and very comfortable, this place is like stepping back in time. Beautifully appointed bedrooms with antique touches. You share a bathroom with one other room; bedrooms have private sinks. Easy access to subway and plenty of shops/cafes nearby.

The room was great! The bedding was comfortable, plush, and warm. The water pressure was great, which is a rarity in NYC. The host was kind and attentive. I only took 1 star off of service because we didn't need any so I can't really attest to it. We will definitely be returning again.

We stayed here back at the start of October and had an amazing stay. The rooms are clean and full of character, the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and if you’re lucky there will be live jazz on downstairs. The location is amazing as you’re only a few minutes from the metro and the price is about as good as it gets in Manhattan!

We had an amazing stay at the flophouse. The house has lots of character and the rooms are very well maintained and spotless. Rene is a great host and its always great to support independent business owners. We'll definitely be back when we're in NYC again!

First time Visited this place for a blues experience and it was literally discovery for me…
I’m totally impressed with the host, the brilliant musician Rene Calvo and the band. These guys make what they really love, not what is the most popular and very well sold… This place is the Hidden Heaven for blues / psychedelic music lovers…
