Elegante hotel con bar y restaurante en el corazón del Distrito de la Carnicería.
Inaugurado en 2004, el Hotel Gansevoort se convirtió rápidamente en el epicentro del Meatpacking District. En el interior y en el exterior, el hotel está adornado con un diseño ultramoderno que no le dejará indiferente. En cuanto a las habitaciones, no son tan lujosas como el diseño del hotel puede sugerir, pero están bellamente decoradas. La vista de Nueva York es magnífica si estás lo suficientemente alto en el edificio, no importa lo grande que sea tu habitación. La única desventaja es que los ascensores se comparten con los clientes del bar y el restaurante.

It's nice. The staff are very professional and friendly but the rooms are definitely way below par for the price point.

Pelo preço que cobram deveria ser um hotel com uma estrutura melhor e não algo semelhante a um hotel economico. As portas dos quartos vizinhos batem constantemente, fazendo muito barulho, incomodando o tempo todo, a acústica é horrível. Um hotel pretencioso que não entrega o que se propõe.

I Just had 3 sleepless nights at Gansevoort. The doors consistently banging and no chance of a sleep in with cleaners continuing to shut doors loudly in mornings . Staff in general mundane and cafe breakfast arrived cold . Great location and rooftop bar was the highlight.on arrival was told must make a booking at their sushi restaurant as hard to get in . 6 patrons when we went .food was VG. Sadly wont be staying again 5/10

Stayed here for business couple of days, I really liked the hotel. The location is the best, on the big square in the Meat Packing District. Staff from front door to front desk is excellent: very friendly and professional, very good people. The rooms are upgraded and are perfect, would have preferred a walk in shower, but understand it is not always possible. Beds are good, and view on the square, in the evening it can be a bit noisy and also in the morning, but you are in the middle of the city and I am a light sleeper. What I liked is the balcony, that you can actually access (only few rooms have that). The restaurants are good and we did breakfast many times outdoors, looks like I am in France! It is very lively, but not much NY traffic and its an open square so a lot of light not like many NYC hotels in these small streets where it is dark, so great to people watch. The rooftop bar is nice and the pool I did not use. Will book again next time, it is pricey but the location and the team members makes it feel like you are on vacation. Worth it.
