We had a great experience staying in this hotel. The hotel is centrally located, staff is extremely friendly and the bar and restaurant served beverages and food of our liking. We recommend anyone who wants to stay in lower Manhattan to stay in this hotel.

Perfect place to stay while visiting NYC - friendly staff, great location and above all the most value you can get in the city. Highly recommend for your vacation, business or any other occasion.

I chose this adorable boutique hotel from a list on TimeOut NY of best boutique hotels. First, the entrance ... so adorable, looks like a brownstone (I prefer small quaint boutique hotels over large commercial type space, just my preference). Then comes the heart and soul of a hotel, the staff! The staff at the Walker Greenwich Village is AMAZING to say the least ... from the front desk when making my reservations over the phone, to checking in, checking out, and every interaction in between ... all were wonderful. They were ALL friendly and welcoming ... like they were inviting me in for a family reunion! Each with a different personality but all sharing a common bond of incredible hospitality ... kudos to them all! They could not be more accommodating and personable. The room was clean but small, BUT I was in NY for a quick trip to enjoy friends, dinner, and a show, was not looking to spend time in my room. The abundance of excellent service and personality of the staff made up for any square footage shortcomings in the room. Also to note, the cutest and most fantastic restaurant bar is located just beyond the lobby of the Walker, called Society Café. This too is a must visit for Cocktails, delicious Food and the same exemplary service as seen with the hotel itself. I wrote a separate review on the Society Café if you choose to read it!

I’m in love with this hotel. I really feel like a guest here the staff is so warm and welcoming, especially Alexis who checked me in - so sweet I feel like we have known each other for years. Rooms are so pretty, I have a balcony with a view of gorgeous, lit up Empire State Building. The bathroom is to-die-for with a giant soaking tub and separate shower. Impeccable vibe. Love.

Room: Not like the photos, smaller than expected and lacking amenities (no fridge, no kettle/coffee/ no glasses/mugs/spoons)
‘City view’ inaccurate description… ‘dark alley’ view.
Heater/ AC: Unfortunately I didn’t sleep well… the room gets very hot and the A/C is very loud, so I had no choice but to turn off the A/C. Not able to open the windows either.
The bathroom: no counter top to put belongings/ just a sink.
Price: I think it’s too expensive for the quality of the room.
Service: Please have someone offer to take the bags! This is a simple yet necessary service for arriving guests.
Be wary of charging guests twice, as I had completed payment online and when I arrived was charged again+deposit.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a very central location. I cannot stress enough how great this hotel is. The best part about it is the staff. They are kind, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The staff go out of their way to ensure you have what you need and feel welcome. We cant wait to stay again the next time we are in NYC.

A FUIR !! Je suis sidérée par l’attitude de l’hôtel qui nous a trop facturé suite à une erreur interne de leur part et qui ne répond à aucun message. Je dois relancer toutes les semaines en mettant toutes leurs adresses e-mail en copie et j’ai AUCUNE réponse. Je vais prendre un avocat !

The Walker is an Older Hotel that made me feel like I was in Europe somewhere. The Rooms are a little small but the decor is unique. I SUGGEST SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT STAY AT THE FOLLOWING HOTELS Wingate by Wyndham and the Bellagio in Las Vegas. And of course the Hampton Inn. I do love the place.

Cheap hotel room but sell overpriced.
Very tiny room, cannot open 2 piece of check-in luggage. The photos doesn’t match with the actual room. And lacking of amenities for this price range. There’s no refrigerator, water kettle, and cups inside the room. The AC is so noisy, makes loud sounds all night.
In terms of service, The door man gave us poker face, because we carry our own luggage’s instead of letting them to earn tips. The front desk refuse to bring up two bottle of water.
In terms of location, the hotel is no inside of Greenwich, instead is on the out skirt of it.

Stayed Friday through Sunday for a little getaway without the kids. Great location to walk around and get good food or shop. Clean inside and cool vibe. Restaurant and bar were nice with good drinks and food. Front desk and bartender were friendly. Met manager Rafael who was cool we talked about NYC and tv shows. Free coffee and bottles of walk. Great value and would highly recommend.

Amazing gem in Greenwich Village. The whole hotel speaks to an elegance of days gone by. Very clean, amazing service, live music in the lobby. Check in was flawless. Simply charming.

We loved staying at this classy little hotel. Amanda at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating. Great location and great food. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a scam, for the price they charge.
My colleague had another guest entering her room in the middle of the night, and the staff called it ‘minor glitch’ without even apologizing.
The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, if at all. There were days I arrived back at the room around 6pm and the room wasn’t cleaned.
The overall attitude of the staff was very unsatisfactory.
