We took a tour to Coba on thier "Mayan Encounter", which consisted of a short paddle on a lagoon, visiting a Mayan Priest, zip-lining, rappelling, and visiting the Coba ruins.

Our guide was Alejandro Martinez, he preferred "Alex" for short. ...awesome guide. We've done several day trips in the "Cancun" area. Alex was about the best. Great knowledge of the Mayan empire...and didn't sound like he was reciting it from a book. I also took several opportunities to speak with him aside when others were off doing some other tourist-y things. He's had an exceptional life in MX and abroad which adds a depth that was certainly appreciated. ...and he is fun! Jokes and comments on the drive to our stops were enough to keep things lively. Something other guides either don't do...or do ineffectively.

Safety. There are elements of this trip that could be quite dangerous in inexperienced hands. In particular, the rope sections. Alejandro was very hands on with the rope course employees. Safety was evident everywhere and rigged very correctly. Double and triple redundancies for safety. High quality Petzel high speed double bearings on the zip lines (2 lines, 1rider). High quality name brand harnesses on each event. Rappel was very professionally set and equipped with rapellers decending on double rapel lines and another safety line as well as staff on bottom belay. ...and they safety checked each person before each zip or rappel to ascertain your harness was on correctly.

Although the staff was always excellent and had undoubtedly rigged these courses very well, I feel that Alejandro's ever present attention to safety details set him apart. And was the ONLY reason my very un-adventurous wife gave the rappel a go and had a blast!

If you can, request Alejandro Martinez. I know we will definitely request on our future trips... the hotel is already booked.

Christian was our tour guide for our Jungle Maya (Native P. Tulum), he was the best tour guide and this experience is one for the books! The mayan lunch was so delicious. Highly recommended if you visit Cancun!

This company is amazing! and they have the best tour guide in Play Del Carmen/ Cancun. His name is Markus tall Austrian fellow that is really in touch with the local culture. highly recommend the Cenote Maya tour! so worth it! but the food sucks. lol

We did the Chichen Itza archaeological site tour with Mayan lunch and blessing, and rappelling into a cenote. The tour was a very good experience with the host Anita and driver Ricardo doing a great job. The tour was informative and well organised, we learned a lot. The cenote was amazing to see and it was fun to rappel down into it and swim in its clear waters. We recommend this tour.

Nature park Tulum experience was great. Guides answered all questions and made you feel safe on the ziplines, I've never done this before. The underground river system was beyond fantastic! Thank you to the shaman who blessed our day in the cave. Thank you for the delicious Mayan traditional lunch cooked with no modern conveniences. Thank you to Eli who drove us around safely and the tour of Tulum!
We took our go pro into when snorkeling. Cave was so dark that the go pro videos were extremely dark. Lots of space in van, bring h2o.
There is a professional photographer, u don't have to buy but everyone did.

Aucune information, l excursion devait être en français au final on a eu plus d anglais que de français....
A Coba on a eu des explications que devant un temple après on devait faire la visite seul en 1h !
On reprend le bus et là on tombe en panne (ça arrive. ) Sauf que le guide nous laisse seul pendant 2h et qu'un autre touriste a réparé le van et j'ai du appeler l'agence pour que le guide revienne.
On part pour Tulum, on a faim car il est 14h et qu'on a pris le petit déjeuner a 6h30 mais me guide ne veut rien savoir. Après avoir vu Les ruines de Tulum sans support visuel (des images, photos de Tulum avant comme le fait les autres guides sur le site) nous partons. Nous arrivons dans un village maya pour manger , il est 16h....
Nous mangeons (c'était bon ! Enfin un bon point pour la journée).
Nous allons dans le cenote, Pablo dit qu'on peut rester le temps qu'on veut.sauf que c'est faux !! Il a éteint les lumières pour qu'on sorte du cenote.
On a été très mal traité,aucune considération pour notre bien être et surtout c'était très dangereux !! Cenote dans le noir et être sur le bas côté de la route avec un véhicule en panne sans guide....

We went on the tour to Chichen Itza and Cenote Maya with Sergio and Juanes. It was a wonderful day. Sergio is funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. The lunch at the Cenote was delicious.

Superbe excursion à Ek Balam, deux heures de route environ depuis Akumal avec comme guide PABLO qui est francophone, d'une amabilité incroyable, un humour sans faille, sans parler de l'amour qu'il a pour la culture maya et la manière plus qu'admirative que j'ai eu en buvant les explications données durant cette journée qui m'a parue bien courte au final....

We had Marco as our guide and Hector as our driver and they were wonderful! My husband and I were the only ones in the group who only spoke English and Marco always made sure that we were getting the same information and just had great energy all around. Would definitely recommend!

La visite guidée en français à Chichen Itza était super, le Cenote aussi et le repas délicieux. Je referais la même visite tellement j'ai aimé ma journée!

We did the snorkeling excursion with this company. The guide, driver and the entire staff were amazing but the snorkeling itself was not that impressive. Water was super choppy and rough (not their fault) but I think it interfered with visibility and overall presence of the fish. We did see a barracuda and a rockfish but unfortunately not much else. My huge pain point was no sunscreen at all was allowed eventhough when I booked the trip it said reef safe sunscreen was allowed. As someone who burns easily, this info would have changed things for me. I did end up getting burned, luckily it wasnt really bad.
