Desde 1870, el Chalet Refuge du Nant Borrant ofrece un pintoresco refugio a los excursionistas y turistas que atraviesan las montañas. En un entorno natural, este chalet perpetúa las tradiciones 100% saboyanas con calidez y sencillez. Productos locales, especialidades saboyanas y postres caseros componen los menús gastronómicos que harán las delicias de su paladar. Stayed here as part of a tour group. Quaint location in the mountains with beanbag chair to lay in and relax after a long day on the trail. Excellent food - delicious and lots of it. Rooms were bunks, sturdy and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and hot showers a plus.

We had an amazing lunch here during our trek on the Tour du Mont Blanc. Couldn't believe how tasty it was.

My husband and I stayed here and was our first stop on the TMB. We got to the refuge very late and the owner was nice enough to wait for us. The food is good. The rooms are all shared with others which hard for me to sleep in but otherwise was nice. Three toilets for all the refuge to share. Also, even though this refuge is listed as in Les Contamines, it is actually 1.5 hours hike beyond it.

Life changing refuge. Stayed here during the 5th day hiking the tmb, and the hostess welcomed us with warm arms.
Dinner was exceptional with awesome vegan options.
