Beautiful location in the honde valley. It’s worth the long picturesque drive. Lots of activities for the kids, from, swimming, to putt, putt, to walks to the falls, walks to the vegetable garden with pineapple plants, to the canopy tour, the art gallery, game room, billiards, ping pong, tea factory tour.We did it all. The kids loved it. Educational for kids.Lots to do. Friendly staff and well trained. The food was always good. A gem. Definitely going back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aberfoyle Lodge for a weekend, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. The hospitality provided by Lloyd, Narine, and their dedicated team was truly remarkable. Oby, in particular, went above and beyond to cater to our every need, ensuring a memorable stay. The variety of activities offered added an extra layer of excitement to our getaway. The bumbslide and waterfall are a must-try for adventure seekers – we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Aberfoyle Lodge exceeded our expectations, making it a top choice for those seeking a memorable and adventurous retreat. Five stars without a doubt!

The lodge is amazing! The place is serene and surrounded by such scenic views from every angle. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and well furnished patios. The staff are very friendly and the housekeeping staff very discreet. Special mention of the manager Lloyd who ensured our staff retreat ran smoothly. Owen and Timothy also gave good support!

Had a pleasant stay. Its a quiet and serene with absolutely no network coverage (which is a plus ????)except for the WiFi provided.
A great place to conference and relax.
The team is hardworking, thumbs up to the waiters.

Aberfoyle is a place that is worth the drive it takes to get there. It's ideal for families, but also great for couples, friends and solo travellers. The food is good, there is a great variety of drinks on offer and all service is warm and friendly. Views are stunning, activities are fun and if all you want to do is kick back and relax, you won't be disappointed. There is a very homely feel to the place that makes you want to return. Maybe best of all, the prices are affordable and value is incredible. So glad to have found this place.

Just the drive in through the tea estate will leave you speechless. The fact that this exists in Zimbabwe and I didn’t know - or hadn’t taken the time to find out! The hotel is best in class. The all-in full-board package is such good value: Full breakfast cooked to order, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, toast, jams. Lunch you select in advance from a list of options from home made burgers to salads. Finally, a fine-dining three course dinner at the end of the day! You will not be disappointed. Rooms superb and super clean bathrooms. Atmosphere = unique.

The rooms are so comfortable and although other guests moan about the lack of aircon it really is not needed. They are super comfortable with fans and you are in the middle of no where.
The grounds are well maintained and manicured. The soft furnishings are beautiful and all the history of the Igoes is superb.
The staff are committed, dedicated and friendly - the best I have come across in Zimbabwe in a long time.
Food is decent, of course can be better but very enjoyable.
Cannon, Tendai, Timothy and Morgan the bird man were sensational and a testament to the lodge. Will be back.
