This hotel is wonderful. My friend and I just stayed here for three nights and we loved everything about it. The location is super quiet and near a ton of ancient ruins. The hotel is so clean and spacious! We enjoyed conversing with the staff - they are all so friendly. There is a large breakfast area and on nice days you can eat outside in a beautiful setting. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel right in the heart of the Roman Ruins with great,accommodating staff and an amazing restaurant (highly recommend the carbonara).

I just returned from a delightful four-night getaway with my 13-year-old son. Our hotel experience was lovely overall. The room was impeccably clean, featuring a spacious bed, although the mattress was slightly firm, it didn't bother us much given our exhaustion from a day of exploration. The staff proved to be exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
Breakfast options were plentiful, ranging from eggs and beans to fruits, bread, and pastries. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden, especially enchanting in the evening as the sun set.
The hotel's location couldn't have been better, just a short 10-minute walk from the Colosseum and a mere 5-minute stroll to Circus Maximus.
All in all, it was a fantastic stay. Many thanks to the accommodating staff for making our experience memorable.

We logeerden voor de derde keer in hotel Kolbe, supervriendelijk personeel, fijne, familiale sfeer. Prima ligging om de stad te verkennen. Mooie tuin. We hopen zeker om nog eens terug te komen.

Excellent location with excellent staff. Very friendly people that really make you feel at home away from home. The view on the garden is very nice. We really can recommend the restaurant: good menu, excellent quality and again very friendly people. We certainly will come back!

Prachtig aangenaam hotel op een zeer prettige locatie, qua sfeer, ruimte, rust, naast het forum Romanum, Capitool en andere bekende monumenten. Het Vaticaan is aan te lopen. En de Tiber is de leidraad.

Excellent hotel for a stay and touring Rome. The room and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff was always friendly and helpful.
As far as location you cannot stay closer to the original center of original ancient Rome until you camped on Palantine Hill. We had a view of Palatine hill directly across the street from our room. There are also a few good restaurants within easy walking distance. Not that close to public transportation, but you can't have everything.

Nice hotel with a wonderful garden oasis in the back. We enjoyed pre evening cocktails and post dinner drinks on the rooftop terrace. Hotel is located next to the Forum and at the end of the road is the Circus Maximus. Great location and fine service.

I stayed at the Kolbe Hotel for ten days March 4-14, 2024 in a wheelchair accessible room. The hotel was wheelchair friendly and the staff was wonderful. Especially April at the morning breakfast buffet and Ramona (not sure of her name) but she was the head of house keeping and gave us a tour of Father Kolbe's museum and took us up to the roof of the building for a wonderful view!!

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend renoviert werden, Teppichboden entfernen wegen der Hygiene. Frühstück nicht abwechslungsreich nur Käse und Wurst zu viel Süßspeisen (viele Engländer und Amerikaner)Fernsehsender Stimmen nicht.Bad sehr veraltet.Keine 4 Sterne!

Ein gutes Hotel. Frühstück ohne Fehler . Schöner Garten. Das Beste ist aber , dass man sofort reagiert wenn etwas nicht in Ordnung ist. Ich habe ein kaputtes Leuchtmittel gemeldet und 1 Stunde später war es repariert. Vorbildlich.

The Kolbe lives up to its billing. The attention to detail and customer first friendly front desk the Kolbe is a must stay if you are in Roma. The location is top of the line, but also in a very quiet section of the city. It truly gives you the Ancient World on the outside and the quiet/relaxing world on the inside. When booking the room categories are important so please read how each room is labeled. If you ever have any question the Kolbe is quick to respond in a very positive and professional manor. We will be back for a third time and would not even look elsewhere.

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer gebucht und waren mit der Sauberkeit äußerst zufrieden. Die Lage direkt am Herzen Roms war für unsere Ausflüge perfekt. Das hoteleigene Restaurant war sein Geld wert und das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders bemerkenswert war das freundliche Personal, welches auch bei spielenden Kindern im Garten ein Auge zudrückte. Allerdings wäre das Familienzimmer im Falle von mehreren Regentagen etwas zu eng (4 Personen) gewesen. Aber wir hatten ja glücklicherweise traumhaftes Wetter.

We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were polite and extremely helpful. The hotel was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Parts of the decor were a bit tired, but rooms were being painted while we were there (in the off season of February). The garden was beautiful and was being renovated too, ready for the wedding season. A variety of options were available for breakfast, always tasty. This included a continental style along with a hot option. We paid for a room with a view of the garden, which was filled with olive trees and parakeets! The hotel is in the middle of the ancient part of Rome and ideally positioned to explore. We will return.

Hotel confortable et calme proche du forum
Chambre avec vue sur le jardin ce qui la rend très agréable
Literie remarquable (dimension et confort) par contre salle de bain petite et douche exigüe

Moet ik eerlijk zeggen dat ik niet weet of je met een tillift onder de bedden zou kunnen niet op gelet omdat wij dat niet nodig hadden
Lokatie is fijn het ligt erg centraal!
