Top hotel and service. I love the style and the decoration in the hotel

We often stays at hotels of this category on our family travels. So many times though, the splendor of a property is not quite matched by the level of service. I am however very happy to report that the Rocco Forte Hotel De la Ville did not disappoint. The understated elegance and beauty of this hotel was only exceeded by all of its staff and an incredible attention to detail.

Our travel booking service made a mistake on our reservation. When this type of thing happens there isn’t much a hotel is able and/or willing to do. A very special thank you to Ania and the amazing front desk team for coming up with a solution that made us very happy.

Another special thank you to Ben and the rest of the concierge team for helping us navigate the Roman dining scene so well. They listened to our very specific desires and were able to get us nice tables at some wonderful dining venues.

Everyone else including the super friendly doormen, the amazing restaurant and room-service staff, and very detailed housekeepers were all great. They religiously went out of their way to provide a very subtle and high level of service.

You know you’re in a great place when the hotel knows what you might need before you do. Things like umbrellas, waters, coffee and other amenities seemed to suddenly appear just at the right time throughout our stay.

We were very impressed that they cater so well to family travel. Our eight year old twins felt very special with all the lovely attention, fun surprises, and of course the all-important stuffed toys.

Lastly, do not miss the spa. It’s so nice and relaxing. Fantastic way recharge batteries before and evening stroll in this wonderful city.

This is our first stay at a Rocco Forte hotel and it has certainly made us big fans of their brand and we look forward to many future stays.

Estuve en este hotel hace 9 años y tengo hermosos recuerdos de este lugar. Por eso quise ir a visitarlo y aunque no me hospede, pude ver que esta mas bonito que antes, esta completamente remodelado. Gracias a la impecable atención de Ashley quien me dio un recorrido por el hotel pude ver lo hermoso de este lugar y su terraza. Pienso volver y hospedarme allí cuando regrese a Roma. ❤️

Un luogo meraviglioso. Proprio sopra piazza di Spagna. Non è solo un hotel ma un luogo ideale per eventi di gala, matrimoni o un aperitivo nel meraviglioso chiostro interno. Lo staff è davvero molto professionale e gentile.

This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in all of our trips to Rome and I think may now be my favorite hotel anywhere in the world! The rooms and hotel are beautiful and tastefully decorated, newly remodeled. The staff is the most welcoming we have met at any hotel, and they all appear genuinely happy and truly care about making your stay the best experience possible. In room dining food is amazing and very efficient. The concierge team arranged transportation for us as well as restaurant reservations, they are extremely responsive and always seem happy to help. We at at Cielo on the rooftop, the views are amazing and the staff again was the friendliest we encountered. We can not say enough about this hotel, we will definitely return whenever we are in Rome and highly recommend you stay here if given the opportunity.

Quite simply an excellent hotel. However, after a days hard sightseeing a chocolate on the pillow is preferable to a face mask packet ????‍????

Splendido hotel in posizione strategica per accedere a tutti i servizi. Abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade in una junior suite molto confortevole con vista sulla bellissima piazzetta interna dell’hotel e un’amenity personalizzata a base di Franciacorta e primizie locali! Abbiamo anche avuto modo di visitare la terrazza panoramica a pranzo. Porteremo sempre dentro il ricordo di quella vista mozzafiato! Personale cordiale e attento. Super consigliato!

I stayed in many 5* Luxury Hotels, but De La Ville is one of a kind in terms of details, welcoming, and caring of their guest.
I will not talk about the perfect location it's over the Spanish steps.
I will not forget this hotel, and I will highly recommend it to anyone.

One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in . All staff were exceptional and nothing was a problem . They went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from . Rooms and public areas immaculate. The main assett is the staff . Above and beyond

Ho soggiornato una notte in questo hotel nel pieno centro di Roma, in una bellissima posizione in cima alla scalinata di Trinità dei Monti, con una vista mozzafiato sulla città. Impossibile definire questa esperienza come un semplice soggiorno poiché in realtà si tratta di vivere in un vero e proprio sogno dove il personale cerca sempre di rendere tutto indimenticabile. C’è una grande cura dei dettagli e una straordinaria attenzione da parte di tutto il personale (mi ha particolarmente colpito la lettera di benvenuto che la signora delle pulizie mi ha scritto). Le camere sono molto grandi e ricche di ogni comfort; definire il minibar interno alla camera “mini” è fortemente riduttivo poiché dentro c’è davvero di tutto. La colazione è molto ricca con un buffet dolce e salato, a me è piaciuta molto la selezione di frutta e la possibilità di ordinare dalla carta quello che più si desidera. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare in questo hotel perché sono sicuro che non ve ne pentirete!

We had an amazing time at hotel de la ville in Rome. The rooms are so beautiful and comfortable the service is outstanding and the location is perfect. The restaurant manger, Massimiliano made sure that we had the best time at our dinner. We highly recommend this hotel.

¡Enhorabuena! Habéis excedido nuestras expectativas, una experiencia inolvidable. Me habían comentado que este hotel era una maravilla, pero como se suele decir “si no lo veo no lo creo”.
Mis amigas y yo hemos tenido la suerte de hospedarnos aquí tres días. Nuestra experiencia empezó antes de llegar a Roma, donde estuvimos en contacto con el maravilloso equipo de el Concierge que organizaron nuestra recogida desde el aeropuerto, reservas en restaurantes y visitas a diferentes museos. Una vez llegamos, los hombres de la puerta Massimo y Davide (si recuerdo bien) nos asistieron con las maletas, y nos acompañaron a la recepción para hacer el check in. Ahí tuvimos la suerte de conocer a Ania, que nos hizo el check in y acompañó a las habitaciones. ¡Que espectáculo de habitaciones!
Esa misma noche cenamos en el hotel, la comida buenísima ¡y el servicio aún mejor!
Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos el equipo excedió nuestras expectativas. Lo que más nos sorprendió de Hotel De La Ville fue el servicio personalizado y lo detallistas que son. Todos los empleados se dirigían siempre a nosotras llamándonos por nuestros nombres, ¡que gusto!
Gracias Hotel De La Ville, desde luego que volveremos. Nos llevamos este recuerdo para siempre.

The Hotel is a real beauty with a stunning view overlooking Rome.
OIR stay was just perfect from the beginning thanks to the warm and professional welcome by Davide till the end.
A special mention to the breakfast with a wide selection of fresh products and the design of the venue with the music creates a sparkling minimalistic luxury feeling.
We really liked the station to make your own smoothie with fresh fruit and vegetables in the counter, this is something new hard to see in other hotels and for sure is a unique point.
Will be back for sure to enjoy the beauty of this property and it’s amazing staff.

As you would expect, beautiful hotel and room and superb service. Great time of year to go is late January/early feb. It’s very quiet. Great location

It was a great shame the roof terrace was closed each time we tried to go there but other than that everything was fine. Would only come back to this Hotel when visiting Rome.
