Just returned from a very happy stay of a few days on Miquelon, and I am very glad that I stayed at Auberge de l'Île. I was welcomed by Patricia, the proprietor and hostess extraordinaire. During my stay, she was supremely kind, helpful, and attentive as well as patient with my French, as was her colleague. They do a superb job. Breakfasts were tasty and just right for getting me going each day, and the picnic lunch she made for me to take hiking was tops. As for the room, it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. I wish I could have brought the bed home with me. Without a moment's hesitation, I highly recommend Auberge de l'Île to anyone visiting Miquelon.

Attractive, clean, friendly establishment. Breakfast included. Delicious French cuisine. Dinners available. Delicious. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff but limited English spoken. Helpful. One needs a car or bike to make the most of a visit. Distances far to walk but beautiful hiking at Cap de Miquelon. Price reasonable.

Le personnel est à votre service, c'est une petite auberge bien accueillante et Patricia est merveilleuse.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour et la cuisine un régal. Un très bon accueil. Et une bonne humeur qui fait chaud au cœur. Je conseille sans réserve.
